Entry Fees:

• First Class: $40
• Second and third class: $25 each
• We will be selling a limited number of event t-shirts at the track. These are not included in the entry fees.

• USGT
• F1 25.5
• WGT-R
• TC 17.5

New this year will be the following “track” classes:

Each of these classes will be a $10 entry fee. While we won’t have our regular trophies for these classes, you’ll be racing for bragging rights and maybe some “special” prizes!

• Modified TC
• Modified 1/12 Pan Car
• Tamiya Euro Truck

Schedule:

• Friday 7/20:
  • Noon to 10:00PM – Open Practice
• Saturday 7/21:
  • 8:00AM to 11:30AM – Controlled Practice
  • 12:00PM to ?? – Three rounds of qualifying
• Sunday 7/22:
  • 8:00AM to 11:00AM – One round of qualifying
  • Noon to ?? – Mains

Rules:

• NORCAR only supports “two wire” transponders. This includes the MyLaps RC4 Hybrid and MRT.
• All general NORCAR club rules apply. Click HERE for details.
• Random motor tech will be performed during the qualifiers on Saturday and Sunday and the mains on Sunday. A resistance meter will be made available during practice on Friday for racers to use to verify that their motors are compliant in advance. A list of ROAR’s minimum resistance values will be available at the track as a reference.

  • ESC: Any ROAR approved non-timing ESC in its approved “Blinky” mode.
  • Battery: Any hardcase 2s LiPo with a maximum of 6000mah rating.
  • Gearing: Open
  • Tires/Rims: Protoform VTA Specific Tires (Front 10140-00, Rear 10139-00) mounted on VTA wheels. Front on front, rear on rear.
  • Body: USVTA approved, see their list.
  • Maximum Battery Voltage: 8.40
  • Minimum Ground Clearance: 5mm
  • Minimum Weight: 1450g
  • Maximum Width: 200mm
  • Minimum Body Height/Wing: Wing as included with body and mounted in designed location
•  USGT
  • USGT rules apply (tires subject to compliance inspection)
  • Motor/Rotor: ROAR approved 21.5 with ROAR approved tuning rotor
  • ESC: Any ROAR approved non-timing ESC in its approved “Blinky” mode.
  • Battery: Any hard case 2S
  • Gearing: Open
  • Tires/Rims: Ride RIE24025 tires and inserts (available through Gravity R/C or NORCAR)
  • Body: No WGT, ROAR TC2, Truck or bodies intended for oval or off-road. Bodies my completely cover the tires.
  • Maximum Battery Voltage: 8.40v
  • Minimum Ground Clearance: 5mm
  • Minimum Weight: 1380g
  • Maximum Width: 200mm
  • Minimum Body Height/Wing: Any “scale” molded wing can be used. Lexan wings are limited to a 10mm maximum height including the side dams.
• WGT-R
  • WGT-R rules apply
  • Motor/Rotor: ROAR approved 17.5 and ROAR approved tuning rotor.
  • ESC: Any ROAR approved non-timing ESC in its approved “Blinky” mode.
  • Battery: Any hard case 1S
  • Gearing: Open
  • Tires/Rims: CRC spec or TCS tires. Fronts on front, rears on rear.
  • Body: Approved body list only bodies must not be cut lower than the trim line therefore controlling height. Bodies that look slammed will be checked.
  • Maximum Battery Voltage: 4.20v
  • Minimum Ground Clearance: 5mm
  • Minimum Weight: 1025g
• F1 25.5
  • Motor/Rotor: ROAR approved 25.5 with ROAR approved 12.3mm rotor.
  • ESC: Any ROAR approved non-timing ESC in its approved “Blinky” mode.
  • Battery: Any hardcase 2S
  • Gearing: Open
  • Tires/Rims: CRC or TCS on UF1 style wheel (single nut retention front and rear)
  • Body: UF1 approved, Year 2000 or newer bodies

  • Minimum Weight: 1350g minimum
  • Maximum Width: 190mm
  • Minimum Body Height/Wing: 130mm minimum. Sitting on 20mm blocks. No part of the wing may extend above the roofline of the body.
• Tamiya Euro Truck “track class”
  • Tamiya TT-01 based Euro Semi Truck kits only
  • Must use kit supplied motor and ESC
  • Only upgrade allowed is ball bearings
  • Must use kit supplied pinion gear
  • Must use kit supplied tires and full body
  • 2S LiPo battery. Max capacity of 6,000mAh.
