NORCAR is a non-profit organization and run by a seven person board of directors. All club members in good standing and up-to-date on membership dues may vote in the board elections. In order to run for a position on the board of directors, you must be in good standing, up-to-date on membership dues, must be able to commit to attend board meetings, track change-overs, help during race day, etc.
Board positions are held for two years. Each year, approximately half of the board positions will be up for re-election. This allows the club to keep some continuity and experience on the board from year-to-year.
If you’d like to run for a board position, please talk to one of the existing board members or send an email to info@norcarracing.com by 11:00PM EDT on Saturday, September 29, 2018.
Elections will be held at our club race on Saturday, October 6, 2018. If you are a paid member in good standing and would like to vote by email, please contact us at info@norcarracing.com prior to 6:00PM EDT on Friday, October 5, 2018. We will reply with a list of candidates. Your votes must be returned by email by 12:00PM EDT (noon) on Sunday, October 7, 2018. Election results will be announced shortly after.
