NOTICE: We have moved the racing start time from 11:00AM to NOON for the next four off-road races. Doors will still open at 9:00AM for pit setup and practice. We hope this gives everyone a little more practice time.

Recently, NORCAR tried two “late start” races. We opened the doors at 3:00PM and racing started at 5:00PM. We’d like your opinion on whether we should continue to occasionally schedule “late start” races. Normally, our doors open at 9:00AM and we start racing around noon or 1:00PM.

NORCAR is excited to announce the return of carpet off-road racing at The Gate starting Saturday, April 7th! We’ll be running off-road on Saturdays with doors at 9am and racing at 11am.

* Note that a previous version of this post contained an error and stated the off-road season would start April 1 and we’d be racing on Sundays. April 1 is Easter and there will be no racing. We will be racing on Saturdays.

NORCAR and Austintown Hobby are proud to announce the 2018 Winter Classic. This is a two race series taking place on Saturday, Feb 10 at NORCAR “The Gate” and Sunday, Feb 11 and Austintown Hobby.

The oval race originally scheduled for February 10, 2018 has been cancelled. This will not be the Winter Classic Road Course Race.
